Our residential work covers a wide range. Some projects are custom homes for a single family. Others are rental buildings, condominium communities and transitional housing. What they share is care for the people who'll live there.
Custom homes
No two of our custom homes are alike. The Hammond Road residence in Mississauga is a bold modern house with towering ceilings and big living spaces. On Kenilworth Avenue in Toronto's east end we built a home inspired by mid-century modern design, finished in stone, wood and glass, with a pool and landscaping. Adobe Court in Mississauga is built around indoor-outdoor living, Larabee Crescent in North York takes its cue from villa design, and Gallant Place in Woodbridge mixes rustic warmth with modern comfort.
What doesn't change is how we work with homeowners: clear budgets, honest schedules and a site we'd be happy to walk our own families through.
Multi-unit and rental housing
Ontario needs more homes, and several projects in our portfolio add them. 85 Taylor Avenue in Chatham is a five-storey rental building with 68 one-bedroom units, being built under the CMHC MLI program on a lot that was rezoned from a single dwelling. Sheldon Avenue Residences, also in Chatham, is a two-storey building with seven homes, designed to fit an established neighbourhood.
Communities, not just buildings
Some residential projects are about much more than the units. Creekside Condos in Milton brings 276 homes together in three six-storey buildings around a central clubhouse. At 60 Caledon Avenue in Hamilton, the plan for an age-friendly rental community keeps 47 percent of the lot for landscaping, pathways and greenspace, and more than a quarter of the units are fully accessible.
Pathways on Park in Chatham-Kent provides 50 furnished modular cabins and a communal building for people moving out of homelessness, with support services on site. It's a good reminder of why housing work matters.
Do you build custom homes?
Yes. We've built custom homes in Mississauga, Toronto, North York and Woodbridge, including pools and landscaping. Every one has been different, and we like it that way.
Do you work on rental and affordable housing?
Yes. Our portfolio includes CMHC-financed rental housing in Chatham, an age-friendly rental community in Hamilton and transitional modular housing in Chatham-Kent.
How is a multi-unit building different from a custom home?
Scale and repetition. On a multi-unit building, small decisions are multiplied across every unit, so a better detail or a smarter layout pays off many times over. There's also more coordination with municipalities, utilities and lenders.
